ST. LOUIS (AP) - A company of health care in a suburb of St. Louis, is the separation of the molds with a neurosurgeon who operated on the wrong side of the brain of a woman last year page.

SSM Health Care and Dr. Armond Levy confirmed that his contract was not renewed. Valid in October. SSM said Levy has not been fired and the decision had nothing to do with the operation of 53 years Regina Turner of Saint Ann, Missouri.

Turner went SSM St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, Missouri, for an operation on the left side of his brain in order to reduce the risk of stroke in April 2013.

The operation was performed at the location at the right side of the brain. A lawsuit alleging that the Turner after the failed operation was disbanded in January suffer from medical problems potentially life.
