Opportunity as coordinator of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Geneva, Switzerland, to work,

World Health Organization (WHO) is working on finding a coordinator in the department of non-communicable diseases at the headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

Job description:

1 Participation in the development of strategic planning, management, monitoring and evaluation department.

2 to effectively manage and lead the team working on the management of cardiovascular diseases, cancer, respiratory diseases, diabetes and genetics in all activities, including prioritization, design, development, planning, management and programs work and resource usage monitoring, control and evaluation direct staff and the defense of the highest professional standards of excellence and efficiency.

3 To provide leadership and technical expertise in the planning and coordination of activities in the management of cardiovascular diseases, cancer, respiratory diseases, diabetes, genetics and other important areas of non-communicable diseases, including kidney disease.

Integrated 4 Creating and managing multiple medical conditions the WHO and the national / regional offices and approaches to strengthen the capacity of the implementation of the measures in the plan for global action against noncommunicable diseases, in cooperation with Member States and groups of interest.

5 Development of effective strategies and costs of non-communicable diseases, based on findings and guidelines and direction for the development, implementation and evaluation of ENT / national policy programs and the integration of NCD interventions in health systems with special emphasis on primary health care.

Represented agency level 6 WHO, regional, national and other international conferences and workshops to advise governments and other external partners recognized the ability of the Authority and the priorities of the WHO NCD organizations, increase opportunities to serve in the area of non-communicable diseases.

To find 7 Develop in collaboration with other teams from WHO and the national / regional offices, effective technical cooperation with the Member States for the control of non-communicable diseases on a solid foundation of public health states, in anticipation of new challenges and solutions .

8 Develop, lead, monitor and partnerships with UN agencies, NGOs and other organizations to manage and institutions.

9 Do you support the development and implementation of the research agenda for noncommunicable diseases a priority of national policies / programs ENT.
