With industrialization and intensive agriculture, that has changed. The animals are confined in small spaces, never to see daylight and by-products and hazardous waste feed and growth hormones and antibiotics. Meat from conventionally bred animals do not have many nutrients in grass-fed meat or "pasture".

Cows and chickens "happy"

The grass-fed meat and chicken only allowed cows live outside, the sun and enjoy their natural diet of grass, plants and insects.
