Connection to human health is not the technology

Crounse_Headshot So much written about the transformation of health and technology for health. Too often we forget what makes health care and special health - why many of us chose a career in the health care industry at, frankly, there are many ways to make it easier a lifetime.

I practiced medicine for more than twenty years before it finally stopped, the patient's overall when I joined Microsoft. Let patient care was not an easy decision. Who does not want to feel that their work has a meaning; that connect with people in a time when they are most at risk; a simple thank you from a patient or a family, to help those in a position to have a sufficient reward for the day's work.

At Microsoft, I focus on information technology and the value proposition it offers worldwide for the health and health care improve. This is not exactly the same as the hand of a patient in need, but it has its rewards when you. The scope and extent of what my work to consider impact

For as many years as I can count, I am a big fan of the possible technical solutions in the form of telemedicine, tele-medicine for improving health and health care around the world. With better technology solutions at a lower cost and a truly global reach through the Internet, Unified Communications technology is implemented is in fact transforming the way health care. I could go on about how a unified communications solution, such as Microsoft Lync provides the necessary maneuverability needed, privacy and security in health care facilities of the company. I was able to praise the value of "presence" through Active Directory Users and how they can work seamlessly with anyone in federated with only one or two clicks of a network of mouse.

But again, to avoid focusing exclusively on the technology because it's not about technology. It is the human condition. I am therefore, shed light on a great new video produced by my colleagues from our team of health and science in American life. Check out. If you do not pull your heart, maybe it's time to take a step back and rethink what constitutes life.

By sharing this video, you are, in fact, the embodiment of "patient care." I am also impressed by information technology in health care, but only reminds me, it's actually more of zeros and ones. Thanks for that.

Thank you for such a great example for you. I share the passion about ICT in human medicine. To share with our employees and our customers every day with Microsoft technology to health care to improve.

As you walk through our hospital, try to remember that everyone could be the best or the worst day of his life, literally. As a member of the intelligence services, sometimes it may has seen a gap between my work and daily patient interaction of frontline professionals. In an attempt to systems that are easy to walk, patient and professional to develop - this will make your day a little better might help, or sufficiently transparent, they do not care to notice. Sounds a bit wrong, but I think I did my part for the patient if these intentions are used, done. Good video, thank you!
