"Health literacy is necessary for patients and the public understand and act on health information, to be active and equal partners in the co-production of health, and take control of your health environments help way health and health services for themselves, their families and their communities.
Given the importance of health literacy of patients and the NHS, NHS England organized a meeting sponsored by the IARC in collaboration with Dr. Gill Rowlands, chairman of the health literacy experts SAPC.
